dell xps m1330 battery

at the moment i have the 9 cell 85wh battery, its large but holds good charge i was wondering if there are any smaller ones that still offer good battery life.

How long do you get from the 9 cell?

I've just ordered a m1330 and it came with a 6 cell

5 hours good use with moderate power savings and 50 percent screen brighness with wireless, probably 6 + with mega power saving

I don't think the 6 cell is any smaller in physical size, I might be wrong.

I usually use it on power save with the screen still fully lit and it gives me 6+hrs. No slow down either with Vista Business. Spec in sig.

The 9 cell makes the laptop stick up from the desk, which is not a bad thing as it helps with cooling.

But the 6 sell sits flat of the desk.

I have the 6 cell. just general surfing the web and looking at documents with 50% brightness i get 3.5-4 hours battery life.

6 cell battery here and I get about 2 hours on max brightness with wifi on.

i get 5 hours on full brighness with powersaving
5 hours 40 ish with low brigtness, using nvidia graphics chipset
