Just got this baby, works brilliantly so far. only problem i have come up against is trying to shrink the pre-installed drives to create another logical drive. First time I am running vista, so excuse ignorance.
Basically, there are 4 drives on there already, one "backup" of 10GB containing the driver cds, etc, one "os" with the os and stuff of about 220 GB, and two other unidentified ones, one of about 2.5GB and one with about 118MB. I am figuring that the 2.5 GB and 118MB one is to do with that dell media direct thing (which btw has anyone found useful at all?). Anyhows, I shrink the windows partition, it allows a 95 odd GB partition to be created. Now, when I try and make this unallocated space a New Simple Volume, it goes through the wizard, and then tells me at the end that there is insufficient disk space to create the volume. any ideas?
