Hi all,
Newbie here, so apologies if this has been discussed before.
I have a Dell XPS17 laptop and about 6 months ago the battery stopped charging, the laptop would still power on but was always on 0% charge.
I bought a genuine replacement battery (albeit from Ebay) which worked fine for about 3 months but then I found myself in the same situation. The seller is adamant it is the charger as the battery health is showing as excellent in BIOS?
I then went to have the charger checked out, it is a 130 watt charger, but was only putting out around 60/70 watts, even with lots of programs opened.
So, I bought a new charger, which arrived today but still no good
I'm now being advised that it could be the charging port or something inside the laptop itself.
Can anyone shed any light on this please?
TIA
Rob
