As the title says, my dell xps is now stuck on the following screen below:

I am unable to enter boot options or bios setup at all and wondering what could be the issue?



I just installed windows 8 and then 8.1 and it was running perfect for a couple of weeks and then i could no longer even enter BIOS at all due to being stuck on this screen.

edit: seems like the hard drive is ****ed. it is a SSD OZ 120gb vertex drive

i am gutted!

i thought SSD's are suppose to be built like tanks?

What can i do to make sure it really is the Hard drive that is screwed?

maybe boot a linux diagnostics off usb or CD?
