DEMIGOD - £3.20 until tomorrow :)

Shame this didn't get more support/addons - desperately needs more maps and more Demigods, I quickly bored of what was on offer.

Ahhh well in worst case scenario its cost me under the price of half a pint a week. Had email from impulse took survey and got extra 10% code ....so was 2.88

Wow, I absolutely love this game!

Its so frenzied, like you hardly even have enough time to read through what the upgrades / abilities / items do, you have to learn really fast and be a click master to win =D

I've tried a few of the demigods. I tried the Rook and the Oak first as they looked awesome, but they turned out to be far too weak compared to Seydna and the Thorn Queen.

The thorn queen is my favorite so far armed with lots of mana pots and Bramble Shield and the Siege ability. She seems a lot more powerful with just those two skills and no summons than the Rook does, which cant use summons at all. And once you add her minion ability and the devour spell to heal up, you become near invincible and can take on just about any other demigod or destroy towers with a couple of level 4 siege minions. I dont bother buying priests or normal minions on her, I save the gold for upgrading mana and HP regeneration, just take the siege units and blow up all the enemy structures while my allies deal with the enemies.

Should one of enemy demigods try to attack my thorn queen on their own, lolwut, I swallow a mana potion and go invincible and they just die or flee =D

The 3v3 cataract map is my favorite do far. I really didnt like tthe 2v2 one, it seemed really boring.

Yea thats really true, as it currently is it hardly has enough demigods or maps to make it worth buying at the normal price. Its definitely worth £3 though.

It's actually a great game, but I stopped playing it because of the small community. It's mostly always the same people online, and half of them are idiots. I would play again, but it would need to be with some normal people. lol.

Anyone here play online and interested to play? If we can get a 2v2 going would be great.

As for thorn queen, I find her to be the weakest demigod. Probably requires the most skill to play. Best one by far is the undead beast in my opinion :)

I agree with Rave. If the game was on steam i would have bought it by now. I don't know what gas powered games were thinking when they decided to make it an impulse exclusive.

Yea its pretty much the only game i've bought on Impulse, but I already got Galciv II on CD and made an impulse account for that so wasnt bothered.

Oak is pretty much unstoppable once he gets a few levels under his belt - with minions, a few regen/health items and the correct spec, you need some serious focus-fire to bring him down.

The Mage guy is pretty good too, but frost spec is poor - the slow/freeze abilities are nowhere near strong enough to make up for the lack of DPS compared to fire.

As I said, fun game, nowhere near enough maps/demigods.

I tried out Regulus in a normal difficulty tourney, and he completely owns with the right build and items :)

1400 points. I specced the wings thing that improves damage, the mines for massive AoE damage, Range and the health line, and add health and mana regenerating items along with all the attack boosting equips, and he ends dealing around 2 x 700 damage bolts per second using a clickie artifact that gives +300 damage for 10 secs. If a big mob of trash or enemy demigods attack you, plop down some mines and watch them go boom =D

He destroys towers really easy. I focus on using him to take out towers and cap gold / exp / portal statues, and that gives my AI allies a much easier time. If I see my allies fighting and heading into towers chasing the enemy demigods, then I need to learn how to play that map better and destroy the towers for them asap.
