I do have to say that I much prefer the camera in Demigod over HoN. Might fire it up for a blast later, see if my HoN skills will transfer.

Demigod is very repetitive, and aside from some fancy graphics deep down it's still a bit DOTA, and that's free if you have WC3 or so, far better value for money that because there are loads of great scenario's/minigames for RTS games with a good scenario editor.

I'd expect Demigod to cost a tenner normally, and 2.50 on a sale or so, I don't think it's worth that much more personally.

It's a great game if you want some fairly shallow, quick action. Much easier to get into than DotA, and quite lush graphics in their own way. Great music, and (now it's been sorted) decent netcode (it was a disaster at launch).

I haven't played the game for yonks, but put quite a bit of time into it for a few months - 5v5 player matches are great

I played this offline for a good week or so before I had the cajones to go online. Of course, AI is never going to be as good as human skill but it's always worth doing just to learn the ropes
