Demo: Blacksite: Area 51

Dam the framerate in the demo is awful at times.

Looked quite promising liked the destructable enviroments wasnt that great graphically considering using unreal 3 engine.
 
Hadn't been on my 360 for a while and saw this on the marketplace this morning, figured it was an old demo :p

Might check it out later.
 
Wow such a short demo..

But the graphics are really good, voice acting is.. ok. I love how you can blast walls down etc.

though the demo did have the odd stutter, a few bugs etc
 
apart from the odd bit of slowdown I quite like the look of the game, nice graphics/sound and loved the end sequence at the end :)
 
Really enjoyed it, for how long it lasted. Looks pretty nice, good action and effects, the enemies look suitable wired and wonderful. Only major gripe was the slow down, but hopefully that will get sorted.

One to add to my list i think.
 
Very short demo, very flakey frame rate, very dull... just another run of the mill linear FPS that companies continually churn out.
 
I thought it was great. I think the graphics are fantastic to be honest, with really nice use of shaders. The ground really does look wet from the rain. It honestly reminds me of Gears Of War to look at.

As for the framerate, for the majority of the time it's nice and smooth, but there is a fair bit of slowdown during the explosions etc. I'm certain this is down to it being early code, it just needs some optimisation.

The machine gun has a nice meaty feel to it too.

Looking forward to the game now :cool:
 
not to shabby some slowdown but nice gfx u3 engine

sort of gow meets rtfom feel about it with some r6v style squad tactics

had not even heard of it before i downloaded it

one of the better demos i have downloaded lately
 
Well I liked it.

Looked good enough, played well enough... not groundbreaking, but then not every game made can be.
