I did a bit of searching and didn't come across much so thought it was fair game for a thread!

For anyone who doesn't know the demo 'scene' has been around for donkeys years from C64, Amiga to the consoles and PC's of today and there are some cracking demos been made over the years- personally I love the Amiga scene with the likes of 9 Fingers and State of the Art etc as well as the newer stuff for accelerated Amigas, Starstuck etc. Even Sony has got on board by commissioning the Linger in Shadows demo for the PS3 by Plastic.

The PC demos obviously have the best visuals and some are just stunning and here are a few of my faves if anyone wants to give them a whirl. :)

PS. These can all be found at http://pouet.net

Comments/discussion welcome!!

Downloaded "Panic Room" from that site, tried to run it, and was instantly given a Trojan warning by Avast.

That'll be that then.

The tiny 64k demos on the PC are great. I remember the Amiga ones.. Jesus on E was good.

I cant extract it, PC went mad and now feels slow need to reboot.

EDIT : ESET ESS did not like Winrar extracting that file.

or maybe it isnt loading its drawing but at an extremely slow pace.
its so slow i cant tell the difference

Yeh doesnt sound like a demo problem supposedly if you have an ati card with a driver about 7.5 onwards then it wont work. Just download the vid and watch it.
