Your Opinions please
I am shorlty to be moving and will be wanting to get myself sorted with broadband.
My requirements are fairly modest, I'd like a 2MB connection ideally, (faster would be lovely but is not a necessity), I don't mind a dynamic IP address, it's what I've had for the past few years and I've never had reason to complain about it.
My internet use is mainly email and basic surfing but I would like an unlimited download service, tho a fair use policy is fine by me as I don't tend to be downloading too much but would like the option open to me for times when I do want to download a lot of stuff, ie none of this 2GB limit rubbish.
I'd like to have at least some webspace to use as I have my own site.
After doing some looking around and getting very bogged down by the usual mainstream suspects, orange, tiscali, pipex etc etc I decided to have a look at Demon as I have in the past heard good things about them.
They have 2 packages I'm quite interested in, their Demon Home 8000 (£19.99) and HomeOffice 8000 (£24.99).
The Home 8000 package sounds great apart from the fact that it doesn't have any webspace which is a shame, so I'd probably be looking at the HomeOffice 8000 package.
Anyone use this and any thoughts on it or on Demon in general???
