As thread title, could you recommend some demos to test out on my friends rig? - just did a few searches and couldn't find anything relevant to my question.

His PC spec is:
i7 975E
6GB RAM
4 x Intel E SSD's in Raid 0
2 x GTX 295 (Thank god he didn't get the Mars editions in the end, the date kept getting pushed back)

Currently have Crysis and Farcry 2 installing.

You have all that goodness in a pc and you just wanna benchmark it(or just show off that your mate has a better pc than us!!! SHAME ON YOU ;) )?

On a side note, if you are installing crysis then theres a crysis benchmarking tool to test it out

He doesn't have Internet access at the moment, so can't save any benchmarks, hence he wanted demos that I could save to DVD and pass to him. Would have tried Steam hehe.

He was originally intending on getting 2 x 295 Mars Editions, but the date of release went to late September, so he got 2 Asus ones instead.... so yeah quite a good PC... could have been a space ship :P

not a demo available yet but if you want to see your rig practically die with strain trying to maintain a playable framerate then try rtcw 2 multiplayer.

YOU WILL NOT EXPERIENCE A SMOOTH GAME

hmm i smell bs

no one with sense will spend that kind of money for a rig like that then post on wht demos to test it out with

of course i could be wrong

dont see nothing wrong with doing it myself...in the past when i upgraded i always looked to download the best looking demos to test my system on.
