Just bought a Denon AVR-X2300W amp and having some problems with configuring it properly
I've done the auto set up and used the mic to set the levels properly which picked up my 5.1 speakers fine but I'm having problems getting them to work
On the PS4 it's perfect and the sound mode is picking up the multi format of 3/2/1 but on my fire box where I have kodi and my films; I'm only getting PCM 2/0/.0 and no surround sound even though kodi is configured to 5.1, I've selected Dolby surround sound mode on the amp and selected DD auto on the fire box
Any ideas what I may be missing or is this normal?
I've tried a couple of films and they all have a DTS sound track with 3/2+1
I've tried upmix and pass through but nadda
