Right, I'm new to the AV surround game and am wondering what to do. My current plan is to get a Denon-2106 amp and a pair of B&W speakers initially. I will then get the rest of the surround speakers from the same range when space and funds allow.
My questions are:
1) How will the amp handle having less than 5.1 speakers i.e. will it work OK if i add a centre or does it have to be stereo or full 5.1?
2)is the virtual surround any good from the denon?
3) Will I get stereo from my dvd player through co-ax/optical or will I initially need to connect 2 phono leads?
