Don't know about you lot but I'm excited! When Fostex stopped making phones for Denon and they bought out the D600 and D7100 I felt they could have done better.

These looks sexy and I'm praying they sound like the D7000. I always felt the Fostex TH900 took away from what made the D7000 so good and that was the slight euphoric bloom to its impactfull bass.

Please Denon don't **** this up!

They are certainly lookers, the headphones I mean :D

Lets hope they sound half as good as they look.

The new Focal Elear looks impressive too.

I'd be happy with them being exactly the same as the D7000 but with the detachable cables. I loved the focal classics and they make good gear so I think the focals will do well.

Interested!

Removable cable too! That's the one thing that bugs me about my D2000's, thick twisty cable.

Sadly, they'll be well out of my price range. Still, one can dream. :D

A dream headphone of mine is the D7000 with detachable cables. The D7200 will be £599 apparently which is not bad compared to the prices of Denons other phones at release.

2 pairs on eBay for £1k! Don't even get included delivery. That's an extra £40. :(

No surprise I guess. First few of anything always cost well over the odds, and I imagine that there will be some people more than happy to pay that.

No idea when we are going to see them a retailers for more reasonable money.

These are down to a more reasonable price now; £600 at Home AV Direct. Still pretty limited availability though with only 2-3 places selling them.

Might be tempted one day should they come down in price.
