I just setup a Denon AVR-X3200W.
I have an older Sony BDP-S370Blu-ray player.
I know the blu-ray player is getting on a bit, but I can't for the life of me get any Audio from the Receiver when I've tried blu-ray discs.
I've fiddled around with the menus on both devices and it just won't work.
Any thoughts?
It previously worked fine on my Sony STR-DN1040 using the exact same HDMI cable.
I also tried the same blu-ray (Star Trek - 2009) in my Playstation 4 this morning to see what happened with that.
Audio output is set to linear PCM in the PS4 audio settings menu.
The audio actually worked, but when I press the Green 'movie' button on the remote to select the audio stream there wasn't an option for 'Dolby True HD 5.1'
Am I missing something obvious - Do Denon not list the sound output options them by the actual name? I can't actually remember what options came up but it was something like 'Dolby Digital + Dolby Surround'
