Hi guys,

In a bit of a spur of the moment purchase I just bought a Denon AVR-X4500H which will replace my awesome little old Denon X1300H which has given me many hours of audio enjoyment. However, I wanted an upgrade of noticeable significance in terms of technology and audio capability that would last me another 5 years so managed to find the X4500H for a good price of £1020 (I am outside of UK). I will aim to combine it with a new TV later this year (likely a 65" LG C9 OLED) that also has eARC and HDMI 2.1. Ok, it doesn't support 8k but I doubt that I will have any interest in that for the next few years considering it won't make any practical sense outside of tech demos for a long while yet.

So, my main question:

I would like to add Atmos speakers to each corner of my ceiling and I am looking for ones that will blend in as much as possible by being:
  • Small size (basically as compact as possible while doing the job well)
  • White colour so as to blend in with the walls as much as possible
I have Googled and all I can find that may suit are the Cambridge Audio Minx 12 in white, which are not only small but seem to get great reviews and will cost around £250 for a set of 4 https://www.richersounds.com/camb-minx-min12-wht-sgl.html

Should these do the job fine or can you please recommend me some other Atmos speakers that would fit those requirements? :)

Cheers,

Rich.
