Hi folks, I mostly shoot cars as some here may know so it with a heavy heart that I post some pics of a non-automotive variety :)

I've got a Camera Club competition coming up so it's been a challenge to find the time to get out and get some non-automotive related photos, however the theme is Dereliction & Decay, so here's what I took yesterday and I need to use three of these, which ones do you think?

Thanks!

I like 3, 5 and 11. Assuming your camera club members know your automotive bias 7 may be worth considering? I'm surprised you didn't find a wreck of a car somewhere :D

I did look, there was an old truck stored there, from the 50s I'd say but it was surrounded by farm machinery, I couldn't get the appropriate shot :)

Where is it BTW? It looks almost like an WW2 prisoner of war camp, although I assume it's actually a factory?

Bang on the money there! Brigstock, it's an old PoW camp

For the indoor shots you could have tried underexposing by a stop of two and seeing what you could do with the light streaming in through the windows.

I thought about that and I did take a series of exposures so that I could experiment a bit. I'd like to say that I could have kicked up a load of dust and let it work naturally, except by that point the temp had plummeted (quite literally in a matter of minutes) and this was at the end of the day, I could barely feel my fingers so I just wanted to get the shot and get back to the warmth of the car!

Thanks all, I can eliminate a good portion of these now! :)
