Yeh this is a good idea, but would not work if she actually looked at the slip (did she?) when he gave it to her after he placed the bet.

Thing is, why would she look at it? He's told her what he's bet on, why would he lie/change it after all the stuff they've done?
Remember people are hand picked for these things as they want a certain type a person on the show
