Hi Guys,

I'm using a cheap £10 Gigabyte mouse at the moment which i find isn't the best and also the cable at 1.5m is just a tad short.

Don't want to spend loads- £30 is max budget.

Not sure if wired or wireless is better for detailed work...?!

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Ahh so the lower the DPI the better it is for detailed/precision work?

No, DPI is just hardware sensitivity. MIE 3.0 just happens to be a very accurate mouse with low DPI.

You want something with low amounts of mouse prediction/angle snapping. Angle snapping will help you draw straight lines, but will also force straight lines when you might not want them.

Go for anything with a flawless optical sensor: Razer Deathadder, Logitech G400, Zowie EC/FK/AM, MS Wheel Mouse Optical, etc.

You might also want to see if you can pick up a second-hand tablet and pen. Once you have adjusted to the absolute positioning, you may find it does what you want very well indeed.
