I've heard the 180 can be insanely fiddly.

The case has been too well laid out if that make sense. Everything is too tight and there is no room for any slack. Another issue is the that PSU cables are often too short to reach the p4 power connector.

The eclipse is pretty much the best all round case unless you have an issue with size or unless you have stacks of cash go for Lian-Li.

Not all LianLis cost loads, the Pc7+II for example is excellent value for money. Whats your budget by the way?

I would say £100-£150 for case and PSU would be a fair portion of that.

yes the pc7 and eclipse can have a windowed side panels but not the p180INFECTION said:

It is slightly wider than a normal case yes, but the Akasa Eclipse 62 is the best cooling case for air money can buy, period.
Lian Li PC7+II is what you would class as the value king. It is a really expensive case at heart yet it is cheap. It is built exceptionally well, cools very well and offers superb value for money. Close to the perfect case as one has come yet in my opinion, worth every penny.
Antec P180 has warping doors, side panels that break and there was a batch that the PSU mounting caused 'bending' issues over the whole case. Its a brilliant case on paper but sadly was made to a budget. A prime example of features being added at the expense of build quality.
Sometimes less is more, that is the case with the PC7+ and the Eclipse.
Perfect really, top class PSU and a case that can handle anything you throw at it. Not much I could think of that would not run in that combo really and for the money your getting the best of having a top case and a PSU.
Where my money would go, and will be going if I leave home and am moving my PC about weekly.

I don't know why people say the Akasa case is MAHOOSIVE!!!. I got it yesterday and it's looks smaller then expected, It's wideness is a very good feature. Shame my DVD drive isn't the same black as the bezel 
. Maybe I try mod later. I got the window side panel and it looks awesome. Only other gripe is the hole for bottom PSU fan is only designed for normal PSU sizes and the fan on Enermax Galaxy is about 35% blocked by the mount. Oh well I'll just buy some better heatsinks
