Hi thar,

getting my v1k shortly, and it will have holes drilled in the roof (front panel design).

As im going water cooled, id like to show it off with a side panel. However ive no idea on a design (and have been thinking for a long time now..)

Id like something, striking, makes you remember it. (example, i'll always remember Raikiri v1k window, tentacle/spikes)

Anyway, id like to use some of that AC ryan mesh as well as plexi. Top compartment only (no drive bay rack or psu area visable)

Any ideas? :D (I'd like to dremel it too, but if it really is out there id get it done properly)

I'm planning something similar to this with my V2k but I'm going to try to include the 'The Flash' justice league character, red /gold with the flash emblem and some lightning :p. Get lots of designs, and most importantly make absolutely sure your happy with the final design before you go chopping into your case.

But other than that, go crazy, its your case and if you think it through enough it should turn out awesome :D

Edit: its dam annoying that all the V range windows show about 1/4 of the drive bay, no idea why, just looks odd to me

Year i have been thinking about it , and wanted to do something inspired by comics but nothing really cheesy. Batman, Superman i dont think i could do very well, but The Flash or Green Lantern, with the emblems, etc seem to be a good starting point.

Good luck with your build though Psypher :]

after oggling over the v1kZ, but preffering my v1k cus its upside down, ive decided on stealing the side panel design:

heres a flipped v1kz

bottom section being a silver mesh (my case is silver!)holes same as the front, not hex mesh)), top being plexi. No idea on plexi colour though.. ideas?

Psypher , after a very helpfull post from nightwish , he showed me a program called Sketchup and its proving soo useful for designing my case, their are full v.detailed models of the V2000 and V1000 cases that you can take apart and colour cut into etc. Really is an awesome and easy bit of software that I'm kicking myself because i didn't find it sooner
