Please? :p

I have done some of the modding, not quite all of it. There will be two fill ports on the top of the case and the pumps will probably be mounted in the 5.25" bays. I've come a bit unstuck trying to design a window though.

Thanks for your help :)

I'd suggest a simple L shape, replacing the GPU mesh on the side panel. Id leave the Drivebays covered by the side panel. See here:

How about something a bit bigger, once again in the L shape.
You could have the harddrives facing outwards to see the circuits of the ahrddrives / polish the top.

As you can see I don't have access to Photoshop at work!
(I probs could go an install it, but have other things to do :p)

I'll have to get some more masking tape and a larger hole saw for the rounded edges before deciding on a design. Both seem pretty good though :)

What do you want the window to do?

Do you want it to just show off the inside of your case?
Do you want it to be a part of the central mod of the case (ie a stylish window)?
Would you rather it was something different and quirky or minimalist and safe :P

As it's the first window I'm cutting I don't want it to be too complex, the main point of it will be to show off the dual water cooling loops I'll have installed.

While I'm at it, what colours should I use for the coolant? I'm thinking one red, one blue.

1 Red 1 Blue is always good.

How about luminous Green and Black as something different?

Did you not do the cut in your V1000?

Yeah one red one blue looks awesome. I think one of the Matt's had that and i fell in love with it.

I'll brb with an idea btw.

No, I only designed that and had it cut professionally. At the time I didn't have the tools needed... now I do :D

What about something like this?

Now it's not precisely what i had in mind but it got to a point where i couldnt Ctrl+Z anymore and i forgot to save the original picture :P Anyways i like it cause it's almost like bubbles, what with watercooling and all that.

A bit girly though. So might not be to your taste :P

Not bad but to get a clean cut I'd need to buy a load of hole saws at about £10-15 a piece for those sizes. It's possible with a jigsaw or dremel but wouldn't be all that easy I imagine.

Also you'd have the problem of the GPU mesh surrounding the top window.

I have an idea. What's the case that you are using?

Pft, not like it makes a difference to cooling! I'll most likely be using 7/16", possibly 1/2"... just because it looks a bit nicer.
