Hi guys,

I'm considering re-designing my website in Dreamweaver just by using a free template I can download online.

However, is it easy enough to 'import' these templates in to Dreamweaver or is there some sort of difficult process involved?

It depends if the template is a Dreamweaver template and not just a regular HTML theme to use.

If I were you, I'd download the template and edit it using Dreamweaver's code view to get a grasp of HTML to allow you to easily amend it in the long term.

I don't really hold much of a understanding about Dreamweaver, but I think I have a brief understanding of it.

What I want to do is just set up a website without having to design everything in Photoshop, I want to do it the easy way and just use a template.

So if I get a Dreamweaver template, this will be the easiest way of doing it?

Cheers

if you dont want any hassle you can use the templates within dreamweaver and slightly customise them, if you have basic knowledge of css and html you can easily do this...

once you have completed a page then save it as a template and your on your way...

you can pretty much have it done in a day depending on how complex your site is..

good luck
