Designing My own case

So I'm thinking of designing my own case, and perhaps one day put it into production, but I doubt that will happen :p

I've done a very very basic design using MS Paint(GET IN!) It's basically the fan/ventilation layout, I haven't gone into serious detail as it's just a basic rough sketch on what I would like. I've mixed many designs from cases already out on the market, which you will probably notice straight away =]

But here it is never the less, what do you guys think?

I'd like some constructive criticism, rather than someone just saying "useless, don't bother" or "Bad" As I am seriously considering this as an option, rather than just customizing my current case.

See this post for more info http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17990605

I've also decided that I will probably be using the Coolermaster RC-1000 Cosmos inside set up, as it's got very good cable management(so I've been told) and is a very popular case.

the top of the case is wider than the front panel :p

Thats probably cos it was on paint.
@topic any reason for a 250mm on the front?
@offtopic. Uvmain have you got an ati card for your main graphics and an nvidia for physx?

im more impressed with using paint then the designs tbh nott ebing mean btu there is not colour and your 120mm ouottakes arnt even true circles lol but the design it self once finished could be good also you might want to make a internal layout

hey man that looks good, would be awesome to get it exactly how ya like it!
but doin some research i think CIT cases do pretty much every variation of that design possible, im guessing thats where you got the idea for the huge front intake?
just google CIT man, i know you want to make it yourself but would it not be better to purchase one of them and then modify it to how you like it?
apart from that i like it :D

Sweet. What websites did you use to make it work?

I didn't.. none of the tutorials that were out there got it working for me, I got it working through trial and error. I made a thread here a while ago if you want to continue the disscussion without us taking the OP's thread any further off topic :)

As stated in my post, it was just a quick job with ms paint, and I've also stated in my post that Iwill be using the cosmos layout for the inside.

Well, I've currently got a case with that fan on the front, and I suppose I just like the Jet Engine look it has =]

Don't CiT only do midi towers? I'm going to be making this about the same size as the Antec 1200 / Xclio 1000
