Desire - data usage

Quite simply, is there any way to find out in Android on the Desire what Apps have been using a WIFI/3G data connection during a given period? Or is there an App that can do this possibly?

Get "netcounter". Remember not to kill the app, otherwise it will stop counting.

Net Sentry. Works whether the app is open or not. EDIT: This will tell you how much data has been downloaded but not what apps have been using it.

Its not running on my phone as we speak yet each day when I check it the data has increased.

What do you define as not running on your phone?

All these monitoring apps autostart on bootup.

Netcounter and Net Sentry (and 3G Watchdog for that matter) all seem to only give totals for transfer amounts and not per applications figures ... I've yet to see a app that can do this on a per app basis ...

i use 3G Watchdog here on my hero dont really care what amount of data goes over wifi tbh
i like crying at my 250mb allowance as its used up in the 1st half of the month
