Not the most exciting of topics, but bear with me :D

Is it me, or is it impossible to find white, small desk grommets for things like micro USB cables? They'd be perfect for chargers, peripherals e.t.c. In a perfect world I'd have one that can just fit a micro-usb connector, and another for USB Type-A.

I've found the perfect one, but there's no dimensions, and it's from Home Depot, so not exactly viable. It's this one : https://www.homedepot.com/p/Commerc...e-2-INCH-FURNITURE-HOLE-COVER-WHITE/203717861

Can anyone point me in the direction of some white cable grommets for micro-usb and Type-A connectors? Desk is 30mm. Cheers!

EDIT : Forgot to mention the closest I've found are available are a little too big, and need painting : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-X-35mm-Computer-Desk-Table-Grommet-Cable-Tidy-Wire-Hole-Port-Surface-Cover/351676025915?_trkparms=aid=555018&algo=PL.SIM&ao=1&asc=20140122125356&meid=27d9ccfca1024f589933785621b073fb&pid=100005&rk=1&rkt=12&sd=183401617864&itm=351676025915&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

I had a quick google but can't find 30mm thingies either.
One way round it is to make the hole bigger.

Yeah, 35mm there’s plenty. The problem is it starts to detract from the super clean look I like, with big grommets dotted about the desk.

I’m considering giving it a go on Sketchup and then paying a 3d printing company to do a prototype run. Then I could retouch any blemishes and paint them. There must be something someone’s designed that I can tweK.

So found a few solutions. Ones for twin coax cables, which I’ll likely have to glue in place, fits a micro USB and just fits some USB-A connectors. It’ll do.

I can use larger grommets without the cap on, and run cable tidy piping straight into the aperture, should look neat enough.

This is an awesome idea, I’ve ordered a few in various sizes to try out. Could always print some caps for them.

These also look awesome, thanks man.
