I am busy going about planning/designing my own desk PC. I am looking to fully hardline watercool it, and build the desk myself.
However for you DIY-heads out there, what can I use for the top? Glass is so expensive its ridiculous, is there any alternatives because I kind of need a defunct shape for cable management and would prefer to use some form of thick acrylic/plexiglass type of thing as it would be easier to handle.
Im looking at probably 1500mm-2000mm wide X 800-900mm deep depending on how big I choose to go in the end for cost reasons.
Also, for the main frame, I was going to build it from a type of wood, a thicker MDF probably being the main choice, but again unsure if it would be stable enough for all my expensive parts, what other types of material could I look at?
Is there any good project logs on here of people building the desk pc's to help me out.. Always worth a question before I just went ahead incase I made a bad decision.
