Desks for PC Gaming...

I'll be moving house in a couple of months, and I'll probably want to change desks at that point.

I've had this thing for years and it's been great. It's a huge solid wooden desk but still modern. No daft frills such as keyboard draws and monitor stands. Really large too.

However, I'll be switching from CRT to flat screen soon so I won't need the same dimensions. So, I'll actually want a smaller desk, but something that really suites gaming.

I just wondered if anyone has a real preference to desks when it comes to PC Gaming. Are there actually any desks that are aimed at gamers? Do any support peripherals in a way I've not seen yet? (putting the MOMO on and onto the desk is generally a pain but I can't see a way round that!).

*summary* So, does anyone have a link to good desks for gaming, or can you suggest a desk from your experience which is cool for a pc setup.

Not really a direct answer too your question but try the Argos or Ikea websites/catalogues.

They seem too have a fair range of desks there which may give you a few idea's.

£79, SOLID desk got mine two weeks ago, really please with it..

btw, the picture is wrong, the pc part is on the right and the shelves on the left

i didn't attatch my shelves so i get loads of leg room, doesn't compromise its stability at all

really pleased with it, and its a lot bigger than it looks in the pic, i could fit 4x19" tft's on it side by side

the tempered glass is 7mm thick i think it was.. really solid and that alone is 20kg

my coolermaster cm110 case fits with about 2mm between the top of it and the desk (on the shelf) so it looks freakin sweet

Me too: big white desktop and some metal legs. Really big which is nice.
Me three. I went for the more traditional plain wood. It was (and is) the perfect solution for me.

I just got a flat table top from ikea and chose a pair of legs. Cheap and solid.

I went one better and bought a funky pull-out keyboard tray from a large office retailer and screwed it on :)

Hiya all

Heres ours, my Uncle helped me build it.

Just a kitchen workstop wedged in and supported by brackets and that metal pole!
