Anyone got their 27" iMac fitted to a desktop arm? . I have an Ergotron MX desktop mount but it's simply not strong enough. Any recommendations?

Okay, seems there's some adjustment that need to be done but the arm should support the iMac.

Personally I would be paranoid about having such an expensive machine suspended in mid air by an arm. I would imagine they are pretty heavy, is there any particular reason you need it mounted?
I've got my 27in ACD on a Humanscale M7 desk mount. It works fine and is well within the tolerances. Not sure how much the 3kilo difference between the acd and imac make in real terms. The M8 on their website says it will hold 40lbs so much more than the 30.5lbs imac. Also bare in mind that that includes the stand which you will have removed.

The ergotron was purchased prior to owning the iMac, so rather than have it sit around I thought I would put it to good use. After the adjustments it seems solid enough, if sitting a little low for my liking which may mean I'll go back to using the stand or sell on the ergotron and look at other options such as the link above ( cheers SIAT ).
