Desktop Auditing software

Hello gang

I am looking for some advice, I am after a free ware or a fairly priced piece of software with a server interface to audit about 80 Windows desktops.
OS and software as priority yet hardware CPU RAM HDD would be great too.

Does anyone have any software they have worked with or are aware of to perform this function?

All advice will be most welcomed.
