Desktop Bios

Recently installed a Intel Badaxe D975BX2 only to understand the bios is horrid. I updated it to the latest one and it does not have settings which i want and its leaving my CPU fan on full blast which is rather annoying.

Are there any Bios's to use on desktop for options like this and does anybody else have one of these mobos who can assist me on what they have done.

Not a BIOS option, but

Speedfan has a windows gui that allows you to slow the fans.

That or go for the cheap hardware solution of a fan controller, eg Zalman Fanmate 2

Ive used speedfan for years on my shuttle. Very good.

Im using the F2 Bios for this motherboard. Is there a way of getting into the standard blue background bios?
