Afternoon all, I'm in desperate need of a particular requirement.
At the moment, my PC outputs both sound and video to my amp via HDMI. I play this signal through my speakers or plug my HD 595's directly into 1/4" jack. Mmmmm, lovely sound.
But, I'm getting a new desk, and now I'll need a DAC on my desk, but, I'll still be running a HDMI to my amp for when I want to game on the big screen/sound system. Not through my headphones at my desk.
Any way I can accomplish this?
The only saving grace I might have is that when at my desk, my PC is outputting video via DVI, then when on the big screen, steam big picture mode should switch to HDMI. Which I'm hoping will change the audio output as well.
