Sorry, wasn't sure whether to post this in Windows or in graphics cards.

I had an old ATI GPU where the driver would let me pan and scan around a larger desktop size than the monitor's native resolution. It worked like screen magnifiers - the monitor would carry on displaying in native e.g. 1024x768 and you moved your mouse to the edges of the screen to explore outside in e.g. 1600x1200. It meant that when I pressed PRN SCR, it would take 1600x1200 images instead of 1024x768. I now have a 1920x1200 monitor and a GTX260 GPU. The driver for that doesn't seem to have this function and wondered if something like this is still available as 3rd party? I did find something on Google called Gimmespace, tried it, but the installer was forcing IE toolbars and dubious-sounding search/home page so I backed out of that. Thanks.
