Desktop Geforce 7 comes by Computex

Looks like Nvidia will have the 28nm refresh out before AMD.

This will give AMD a good look before showing their hand at the end of this year, or its could be sooner if Nvidia are releasing in the next couple of months.

For a refresh? yes it is  In fact it is normally 10-15 %

The phrasing was off, it looked like TheRealDeal was suggesting that the "usual increase" was in relation to the usual increase we see with new cards.

It was further confusing because I'd say 15-20% is a very generous amount considering he further related it to the 480-580 and 5870-6970, where it was more like 10% on average, 15% best case.

You even say yourself for a refresh it's usually 10-15%

I got my results from techpower who give percentages. Gtx580 was 15 percent faster than gtx480 at 1200p. Guru 3d said 20 percent faster. 6970 was 14 percent faster than a 5870 on techpower at 1200p. The 4890 was also just under 20 percent faster than a 4870 at 1200p. Was just a quick look to see and other sites may contradict this. I just checked the gtx285 which was only 10 percent faster than the 280 so between 10-20 percent on the each companies last 2 refreshes.

Bit worried this is going to be a majority renaming of products, with say the Titan becoming a GTX780, a Titan LE at 770, the current 680 at 760, and so on...

Then again I expect similar from ATI if this happens, just to keep parity.
