Desktop has a much slower connection than laptops on the same hub.

After reinstalling windows my desktop has much slower internet than the laptops when it was comparable/slightly faster before nothing has changed in my setup but according to speed tests its 1/20 the speed of my macbook now.

I have no idea how to diagnose these issues so any help would be great.

I should also mention that the internet speed recorded on the laptop of 21mbs is about half of what we are used to anyhow and that my desktop is connected via powerline wifi extenders

Turn everything off then re-start in the order of router,powerline adaptors then PC then laptops.

It's because you're using powerline wifi.
