desktop icons

Hi,

All my desktop icons have disappeared...would anyone know why? or is there a little option somewhere (most prob control panel --> display (i think) ) i can switch them back on again???

I am using win xp...

Virus and adaware checks are complete and my system for now is virus free..

Please help

right click desktop, arrange icons by > show desktop icons
