desktop keeps vanishing

Hi all.

ok this started last night where the task bar and any shortcuts on the desktop will disappear and some times coming bk then going off again every min or so.

Only way i sort of fix it is to restart

Here pic of what i mean.

have you tried scanning for viruses on yer pc? or spyware?

Ok i was watching the windows task manager and the (explorer.exe) keeps going off and on.

And if it stays off i have to turn bk using the new task option.

Anyone got any clues i had a look on google and there seems to not be a fix as far as i can see.
And i dont really want to reinstall windows if i dont have to.

Sounds like explorers being killed for whatever reason, can't really help with why though. Have you tried booting up in safe mode to see if does the same?

Look in your event viewer to see why explorer.exe is crashing/stopping.

It could be another program thats crashing that is taking explorer with it.

I have not tryed it in safe mode yet but here a pic of the explorer.exe error i am getting.
