I'm looking to set up an old computer that will have broadband access to display latest world cup results / News.

Is there a service / web page i can load that fills the screen and auto updates relevant news / results?

I have tried the BBC news ticker / alerts program and also Microsoft scoreboard but I'm looking for something that will fill the entire screen.

Can anybody point me to a website that offers such service?

The computer will be left on 24/7 while the world cup is on.

You can use RSS feeds to pull the information off the relevant sites. You could then use something like samurize to make a customised layout to fill the screen.
