Does anyone use desktop software such as Asus AI Boost or similar for changing frequencies and voltages on the fly?
Are there any of these utilities in existence that actually work?
My experience of such software in the past is that at best it doesn't work, and at worse hangs the PC and causes HD corruption. (even tiny changes in FSB)
Being inherently lazy, I would like to O/C from the desktop without all the rebooting.
I had some issues with DMA during the build of this machine and after re-installing windoze several times, I don't want to experiment with potentially system damaging software. Perhaps someone out there has gone through the pain already
Any suggestions on suitable desktop O/C software for P5W DH, is AI booster functional, stable?
cheers
