desktop req

Hi i have apc and have lost all the desktop pics/wallpapers i think it was due to a virus can anybody tell me how i can get then back or reinstall them,

Right-click on the desktop - arrange icons by - show icons

I have all the icons but the wallpaper is just blue if i right click and go to desktop non of the wallpapers will work.

Sounds like a virus. do a quick search on your pc for *.jpg. I once lost all my multimedia files and pictues through a virus.

put the windows cd in the drive and click Start and then Run and type the following then press enter

sfc.exe /scannow

this will replace any files that are missing.

Hi just gave that a try and no luck ??
if i open display properties then desktop then click on bliss blue lace etc nothing happens if i click browse in windows all the bitmap imeges text is in blue so i deleted them and run sfc.exe /scannow, still not working even when i click on browse in display properties/desktop and pick a pic i have on my pc it still wont show on desktop all i get is the blue screen
