Desktop RSS feed reader

Hi,

Id like to display text from rss feeds that i have subscribed to much like the rss reader which comes with windows sidebar. But i dislike that one,
does anyone know any programs which will simply display a text like output onto my desktop without and extras ?

Ive had a search myself but can only find programs..
