This will probably get moved, but let's try anyhow.

Currently, my PC case is on the floor under my desk, out of sight so I cannot see it's pretty internals and LED's. I used to have a desktop shelf when I was living at home which was perfect for putting my PC on, but I no longer have it or the space.

Space for PC equipment is now like gold dust and since I cannot expand my desk left/right, I though I'd try the vertical position. Now, the shelf I have found is 70cm long and 30 cm wide. While 30cm wide is fine, 70 is a little too long.

My question is, can anyone recommend me one of the below at something like 40cm long?

An alternative would be a floor standing shelf which sits behind my desk, but I cannot find one of these either and I'm not able to make one either.

why not get some wood cut to size and stick it up your self?
It's not like a shelf is complex it's basically a piece of wood with some peices of bent metal and a few screws

BTW ikea do some stand things instore that sit on desks I guess you are supposed to put your monitor on them but they look big enough for most pc's if there's space on your actual desk
