Desktop snow effect

I'm looking for this, it was posted last year in GD, I can't find the original thread, but it was just a single file, no installation required and it created a snow effort on the desktop. I've looked on google but none of them match the one I'm looking foward. Can anyone help me?

You could get VLC and get a picture of some snow and then loop it on the background.
