Hey guys.

I've seriously spent the last 4/5 hours trying to fix this issue. Basically, I purchased my desktop recently and it was running fine until this evening. The only thing I can think that may have something to do with it is that I tried to do a Windows update earlier, and after getting to around 80% it couldn't go any further for some reason and had to undo the changes it had made. Since then it will only use the Intel GPU when I try to run a game or something like the Unigine Engine. I've just done a system restore to the day I purchased the machine and it hasn't made one bit of difference, that was after trying a lot of other things that seemed to work for other people. I've also removed all of the drivers and installed them from fresh which I thought would work, but nope. Any ideas guys? The system recognises the GPU in the Device Manager when I click on the Display Adapters link. However, when I click on the AMD CCC it no longer shows Gaming in the headers on the left hand side like it did before this happened. I'm pretty much at my wits end so any help would be very much appreciated!

Cheers, Col

Have you tried a fresh windows install? Considering the updates spurred the problem, that may be the solution.

So you've uninstalledvand re installed the GPU drivers to no avail?

Is your GPU recognised in the BIOS? Have you tried resetting the CMOS battery on the motherboard? Just make sure to check you GPU is properly seated and cables and tightly in place.

Any help?
