desperate for help, bt socket

hi i need help urgently while using the test socket someone has pulled the phone cable and its yanked all the wires out of their terminals on the normal line so i dont have any internet can someone please tell me which wires go where,

its a 4 port terminal wires are dark blue + light blue, dark orange + light orange and blue + white im tryint to get pics but its taking an age to upload on my phone

blues on 2 and 5 and orange with white ring on 3

You'd be better off just connecting wires 2 and 5. The ring wire is un-necessary on modern phones and can pick up noise/interference which will lower your connection speed/stability. See HERE

you are correct unless you have a new openreach socket which already comes with a ring wire filter built in
