Im in the process of getting a heatercore dual into the top of my lianli v2000b, but i have to remove the top two drive bays in order to get it up there.

Ive jigsawed most of it out but all that remains now is a little bit of the drive bay which i can get to with a jigsaw.

Can anyone recommend a tool which will sort this out at all, that will also get into a small space.

Ive tried:

A Saw!! (didnt work becuase it was a wood saw)
Drill (also didnt work)
Pliers (Broke when i tried)

Can anyone recommend me a tool which will sort this out? There isnt that much that i need to cut away, becuase the Jigsaw sorted most of it.

Id prefer not to go for an electrical tool, but if theres no other choice then i guess i will have to.

Please someone help me out, its getting a bit frustrating that no tool will work that i have.

How about a file if it is a really small bit, or a hack saw/blade and go at it that way.

If you could get pics of exactly where you are trying to cut may be able to suggest something better.

Yeah i thought of a dremel too, will a standard rotary tool from b&q also do the trick? But get some reenforced blades to go with it?

Also do you think i could rent one from a hire centre?

I don't see why not. Try to hire one before buying one....Unless you know you're going to use it a lot. :)

I wouldnt want to post piccys neway becuase i cut my fingers twice today now and there might be some on my case :(
