DESPERATE HELP NEEDED

i have a dell xps gen 2 laptop which has broken and dell refuse to fix (long story not important(sufice to say they broke it and wont admit it)) the hard deive is full of coursework i need for exams straight after xmas! these are my mock GCSEs and very important i need ANY way of getting the stuff of it

take out the hard drive and get on the bay or some thing and get yourself a mini ide/sata to usb

you can probably find a cheap caddy you can just plug the drive in to and your golden.

easiest way would be to get an external adapter, such as this and connect the laptop HDD up to another computer and copy the files across.

What is your laptop HDD? IDE or SATA?
Do you have any other PC's in your house or do you have access to a PC?

My Dell laptop died recently and I simply plugged the HDD into my PC via a SATA cable - didn't need to buy anything.
