Desperately need to find a Socket A motherboard for the PC that i built as a Christmas pressie for my 5yo son. The blooming thing started playing up after a few hours use....Damn Epox caps!
(See here if ya interested).
As MM is currently closed, i've had a scout about on the net & there isn't a lot of choice when it comes to Socket A mobo's in this day & age!
Looked on The Bay, but prices are stupid as usual.
I've come across the ASRock K7NF2-RAID for less than £40 new delivered. It seems to have all the features i need, but it's a little odd as you have to use jumpers to set things that you're used to doing in the BIOS.
Any opinions on ASRock kit? Anyone recommend another Socket A board? Need to support Athlon XP's, AGP, PC3200 (preferably DC), SATA would be nice, as would onboard LAN & audio.
Feel free to contact me by email or on Messenger at: master_skooter at hotmail dot com.
Thanks in advance
