So I use VLC player for all my media content.

I have come to play some 4k 2160p content and the picture breaks up and stutters with a grey screen.

I have done a bit of reading on this but with no joy. Can anyone suggest how I can play the media or a media player that can handle this content?

Current pc spec in sig.

Thanks

Hi all thanks for suggestions

7970 = 34c so I dont think I need to change the paste.

I Will try the Media Player Classic and see how that gets on and come back to you

I'm using MPC-BE with LAV filters, set to DXVA (copyback) and that pretty much plays everything for me with no issues.

MPC-BE: https://sourceforge.net/projects/mpcbe/
LAV Filters: https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases

Make sure to go to MPC's settings, disable all internal filters and then add LAV splitter, LAV splitter source, LAV video decoder and LAV audio decoder and set them all to prefer.

Then go to LAV video decoder settings and set it to DXVA copyback.

This worked a treat for the testing :) Thanks
