Yup pretty much 12 slams is enough on normal (two swords). Don't worry if you miss one or an entire sword as the Ogres are much less of an issue and we can just stay at the bottom. Remember as Sword bearer to pick up the chalice (or run HM tactics).

I will run: Moody -> Bluey and finish off with Pigtails (with style of course - Crota butt stabbing will commence...).

I can run sword on any class so can act as a reserve on any run.

The one main thing to remember is; have fun and don't worry about wiping. If that extra slam is going to be a push; don't go for it. You try blink strike if you want but it isn't required on nm. Simply trust that Crota will be down when you call it (we will have 2 G'horns hitting him) and slam away!

Nice Crota takedown by Davie on the 3rd run through.

I finally got my hands on HoC but Hawkmoon still alludes me. Still I did get three exotic drops across the different runs (sorry Anti! ).

I should be on tonight for some NF's and weeklies.

Aye, some cracking runs. Great sword work by Davie on the final run.

I'll be about at some point tonight to grind out a NF and weekly.

Yep good runs, very smooth!

Terrible drops though, just shards and energies for the full crota run (still no more titan armour), then Hawkmoon dropped on the last Crota kill Nothing from VoG but I don't need anything from VoG NM.

Next week I would be happy with just one full crota run and a VoG HM for the Vex.

I don't know about it being a great Crota take down, I've certainly seen a lot smoother lol but it was my first and it's not nearly as easy as some of you make it look.

TBH it wasn't the smoothest run but, you took him on down on your second ever run through as SB thus I wouldn't call that bad at all! Work on the timing (specifically getting away from him after the first down) and you will soon be taking him down in 2-3 swords.

On a seperate note tonight I will be dropping in to the Gorgon maze to grab the exotic chest on my wife's characters. If anyone wants the chest (or the CP - GM VoG NM) please feel free to join me. I will be on from around 7:30.

Anti - if you can get your hunter up to level 20 (then equip the armour you already have) before the reset we could have another crack at Atheon to get you (hopefully) VoC or AE.
