Destop not displaying on my TV

Hi There,

I'm sure its just a setting somewhere. I have run an HDMI cable from my PC to my 42' to use Kodi etc. However when it displays on the TV i have an alternate desktop to what is showing on my monitor. If i launch Kodi it appears on my PC but not on the LCD. Any tips on how to get this working? I am using a Nvidia 980GTX in the PC

Go into the nvidia control panel and check set up multiple displays.

You maybe need to set the lcd to primary 1 for it to show the desktop i cant remember exactly it been that long.

If you really want both screens to mirror the desktop press the Windows Key + P then choose Duplicate.

If it's just to use Kodi on the TV then don't change anything about how windows handles the displays. Instead go into Kodi's settings and change which screen it starts on from in there.
